Course schedule

This course is run over 14 weeks, you can start when you want. An email is sent out each week to remind you to "attend"
class. However all materials are online so you do not have to stick to this schedule and can do the course quicker or slower!
We also start groups of teachers together 2 or 3 times a year to encourage greater participation.
- The class schedule is as follows:
Week 1 - orientation - make sure all materials received, introduction to mystrategy software
Week 2 - The importance of dealing with performance through time: chapter 1 of the textbook
Week 3 - How resources drive performance. Chapter 2 of the textbook
Week 4 - The importance of resource accumulation and depletion. Chapter 3 of the textbook
Week 5 - The strategic architecture - building an integrated core business system diagram: chapter 4
Week 6 - Review / catchup week
Weeks 7 to 9 - Resource attributes, resource development and rivalry, covering chapters 5 to 7
Week 10 - Review / catchup week
Weeks 11 to 13 - Deals with goals and controls, intangible resources and capabilities: chapters 8 to 10
Week 14 - Review and wrapup
