Licensing Options for Microworlds

All our Microworlds are delivered in evaluation format. Generally this means that opening and saving of games is disabled and that certain reports and graphs may not be accessible. The games will also run for a shorter duration, typically a third of the time period of a full game. These demos can be turned into fully featured games by registering the products - done with a simple "key" that unlocks all game features.

A permanent licence for personal study only. Multi Packs of single user copies may be given out on courses as part of a "take-away" package of materials and are ideal in the executive education environment. These are non-transferable, permanent, single user licences; licence keys are allocated either prior to an event or issued on request to event participants.

Often, the most economical solution is a site licence. For a nominal annual fee and a price per head according to the type of activity (academic, corporate in-house or executive education) we provide you with the appropriate license, teaching materials, and copy permissions. These materials provide all you need to support activities with a Microworld. In this case, the organisation is licensed to use the software and it may not normally be transferred to participants; however, our flexible licensing can accommodate most needs.
