LoFare Airline Microworld

This information of provided for people who have been provided with a licence as part of a course using our materials.


The LoFare Airlines Microworld will run on Windows PCs from Windows XP up to Windows 10. Requires .Net2.0 or above to be installed. This is generally installed by default on XP and above but if not you can download a copy here.

For MAC users, please note that the software should run in a Windows emulator - there is no separate MAC version available.

  • Download the file "LofareInstall.zip" (7.6 Mb) by clicking HERE.

    Save to your PC
  • Save the downloaded file to a temporary directory e.g. "Downloads"

  • Unzip the downloaded file to an empty folder and run "setup.exe".

    You will receive a warning message regarding software form an unknown publisher - select yes to allow install. The default location for LoFare to install to is C:\Program Files\Strategy Dynamics\LoFare Airlines Microworld\
  • After installing the software you can access it from Start menu | programs | Strategy Dynamics | LoFare Airlines. the software as provided is for demo. To use in class you will need to unlock it.

  • If you have been provided with an unlock key for the duration of your course. To unlock the software - after installation, open the Microworld [ start menu | Program Files | Strategy Dynamics]. Click through the opening screens. Select File, Unlock / register and enter the user name and licence key exactly as shown when provided.
